
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Asset Integrity and Access Manager to lead the development and delivery of a new business function within our offshore wind operations. This department will be responsible for providing integrated services including rope access, non-destructive testing (NDT), and protective coating repairs on offshore wind turbine structures.
This is a unique opportunity to build and manage a multidisciplinary team from the ground up, ensuring best-in-class asset integrity, operational efficiency, and safety across all offshore activities. This role will be reporting directly to the Offshore Operations Manager and Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

Department Setup & Leadership
-
Contribute to the establishment of a new operational unit focused on access and integrity services.

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of technicians, inspectors, and coordinators.

Develop departmental procedures, KPIs, and performance frameworks.

Operational Management:
​

Oversee planning and execution of rope access, NDT, and coating repair projects on offshore wind assets.

Ensure delivery in line with client expectations, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Coordinate offshore logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation for project efficiency.
Technical Oversight:

Maintain high standards of asset integrity through the application of appropriate inspection regimes and repair strategies.

Review inspection reports and work scopes to recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g. ISO, LOLER, IRATA, DNV, etc.).
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding access and integrity services.

Develop strong relationships with project stakeholders, certifying bodies, and internal departments.

Support commercial teams in bid preparation, pricing strategies, and contract reviews.
HSE & Quality Assurance:

Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to all HSE requirements offshore and onshore.

Implement continuous improvement practices across all operations and reporting processes

Carry out regular site visits and audits.
Requirements
​

Proven experience in offshore asset integrity with a strong background in rope access and coating repairs (preferably in wind, oil & gas, or marine industries).

IRATA Level 3 or experience managing IRATA teams (Mandatory).

NACE / ICOR Level 3 (Mandatory)

Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, MPI, DPI, etc.) desirable

Knowledge of offshore wind structures and maintenance challenges.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Demonstrable experience leading service departments or operational units.

Strong IT skills with proven experience in documentation creation / management
