ARB WIND Achieves ISO 27001 Certification

Fife based ARB WIND has demonstrated its commitment to maintaining exceptional standards within the wind industry by gaining its ISO 27001 certification in 2022. This is in addition to the existing suite of ISO standards which were recertified by the NQA this year.

As a company which carries out statutory inspections and O&M services, ARB WIND looks to uphold the operational excellence it expects of the global wind industry.

In passing the surveillance audits for its Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), Energy Management Systems (ISO 50001) as well as Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001), ARB WIND not only assures clients of its high-quality service but also shows commitment to its staff by providing a safe working environment.

Commenting on the ISO 27001 award, which is the International Standard for Information Security Management Systems, ARB WIND’s Managing Director Arran Bell said: “We worked hard behind the scenes to secure the Information Security Management accreditation to give our clients peace of mind when using our services including our online asset management system, Ventus+.”

He continued “Our company ethos is reflected in our ability to gain and maintain these ISO standards. We want our staff to feel valued and our clients to feel confident in our standards knowing that our systems are efficient and that their data is safe with us.”

The investment aligns ARB WIND with parent company Briggs Marine who acquired a majority share in the company in 2021.

Briggs Marine’s Group HSEQ Manager, Scott Ward, confirmed: “As we work towards net zero 2050 it’s imperative that we set a solid baseline against which all our efforts can be measured. Having the ISO14001 and ISO45001 will enable us to benchmark as we strive to improve upon our current processes.”
